Defining Abilities and Attributes
First off- Sorbet looks rather average, build-wise. She’s about 5 foot 2, though she describes this as “62 Pomiar”. It’s still the same. She’s also about average weight-wise- she would never reveal the actual numbers, but she seems to be rather slender. Any mentions of big thighs will earn you a kick in the groin.
Her hair is light-ish brown, and VERY hard to manage. She usually can straighten the front of her hair, but most of it is in this curly, well, mass that ends a bit below her shoulders. It also seems to grow horizontally. The jury’s still out on how that happens. Also, she wears a strip of multi-colored cloth around her forehead. It has absolutely no powers.
I don’t care to spend much time on her eyes, but they’re purple. You could say she has a disorder that breaks down the pigment in her eyes, making her blue eyes appear purple due to blood vessels showing through and such. Honestly though, it’s mostly because where she comes from, that’s a rather common color.
She typically wears a relatively skimpy blue dress. It has many, MANY frills on the edges. I think she might have a frill fetish. She also wears long gloves made of the same material as this dress. They aren’t attached to the dress in any way, though they sometimes look like they are. Along with these, she has a pair of boots in a similar color to the rest of her outfit. They’re two-toned, and seem to have cloth buckles. The soles are clunky, and give her rather heavy-sounding footsteps. They also have an absurd ring of frills around the top.
Personality
When being described to others, the first trait mentioned is usually “smart”. Sorbet is far from a genius, but she is one thing- very talented. She has a large amount of power and ability, and in her old world, was capable of very high-level magic. Seeing as she was only a teenager, and these spells are usually useable by only very, very powerful (and very, very OLD) wizards, this was considered something amazing.
Despite this, her personality is, well, flat out nasty at times. She dislikes just about everybody her age, and is rather hard to befriend. She has absolutely no tolerance for people she deems “annoying”. She’s willing to do high-risk things, as long as there’s something in it for her. She also has slightly warped morals- she has no problem with kidnapping or threatening others, but will be angered if anyone does this to her/ anyone she respects. Speaking of respect, she’s surprisingly respectful to adults. Unless you rub her the wrong way.
She tends to abuse her friends regularly. The more she slaps/kicks/ices you, the more she likes you. And with Pico, that means a LOT of hitting. Feel free to call her out on it. Also, she tends to fluster easily. This can (and should) be taken advantage of. And feel free to yell at her if she’s complaining too much. She’s also notoriously stingy, and tends to hoard money.
Background
Sorbet was born to a not very well-off family. Despite this, her parents sent her to one of the best schools on her planet- Will ‘o Wisp Academy. Her teacher there was Miss Madeline- a woman regarded as one of the most powerful wizards on Kovomaka. However, one day she was sent in secret by the principal to “the wind planet” to take care of a dangerous wizard named Master Kale and his “Space Pirates”. She was supposed to be back within a few weeks.
3 months later, one of Sorbet’s friends heard a rumor that there were rockets in the school. They followed her, and, well, there were. After she and another one of her friends “blasted off”, the rest of the group decided to follow them to “make sure they didn’t get hurt”. Sorbet and her boyfriend stalker friend Pico landed on the Wood planet. They were offered shelter in a Felin (cat guy/girl) village, but the village was ordered to bring all the wizards they could find to the Space Pirates. Pico got captured, but Sorbet escaped.
Sorbet escaped to the forest, and made up a plan to free Miss Madeline. Unfortunately, her friends had arrived at this planet, and that wasn’t part of her plan. Instead of explain it to them, she left with the space pirates. They were stationed on the Fire Planet, Razen. She spent some time gaining the trust of the pirates, and then made her move- she told Master Kale that there was a VERY powerful wizard hiding in the Village of Pots. Pleased, he gave her an Enigma (demon, basically) escort, and they were sent to the Pot Village.
Her friends were there, however, and saw her as she got away- carrying both the maker of the Pot Village’s anti-demon shield, and the glazer of all new pots before they are given life. She didn’t know it, but the Star Festival- the only time Pots can be “born”- was soon, and loosing this pot, Celadon, was an absolute disaster. Thus, the rest of her friends followed the pot, and her as well. Just as her plan was about to unfold, the group burst in. She panicked, and her cover was blown when she was unable to attack her friends. Kale’s second-in-command attacked her, and she fell unconscious.
After this, she joined the group after a lot of yelling (most by the group, not her). Soon after this, it was learned that 1. Master Kale had been collecting wizards to reach the inside of the sun without, well, dying, 2. Once there he was going to make it explode, and 3. The only way to stop him was to also go into the sun, and that required collecting the 5 Millennium Gummis (not edible). And even then, there was a chance they would still die.
So, of course, they go and collect these gummis, with Sorbet whining the whole way (and threatening suicide at one point). In the end, they DID get all of these gummis, and even got to the Center of the sun- well, more accurately, Nova, the light planet. Following Master Kale’s trait of squished Dancing Fruit (yes, really), they reached the Dark Planet, Shardra. Long story short, they stopped Kale, and were able to stop the sun from exploding. They weren’t, however, able to save Miss Madeline. She was too far gone.
After this, the group returned to Kovomaka, where they were given a hero’s welcome. Soon after this, Sorbet found herself in the Parlor.
