The Card
Archetype
This card represents someone charming, witty, and incredibly skilled. The Magician is the master of his craft, gifted with knowledge of himself and his place in the world. Although he can be somewhat manipulative by nature, it's a careful, skilled sort of manipulation, with higher goals in mind. He acts decisively, with a full understanding of what he's doing and why.
Shadowed
The shadowed Magician still carries that aura of charm and competence, but this is really just a front. His control is never as great as he'd like you to think it is.
Associations
The Magician is a master of all the elements, but he works best with the sharp intellect of Air, and the pure creative drive of Fire. Abilities that emphasize skill are well-suited to this card.
Taboos
The Magician must never appear uncertain. At all times, someone with a Magician card must act as if they're completely sure of what they're doing, whether or not that happens to be the case.
