People with Wands cards are impossible to ignore. Bright, charismatic, and endlessly creative, Wands people tend to keep everyone else on their toes in the most exciting ways possible. Not only do they always know where the party is, they tend to be the ones who started it in the first place.
They're visionaries and entrepreneurs, the ones who always have the best ideas, and come up with them more quickly than anyone else... and then they're on to the next big thing.
At their best, they have the kind of inner drive to see them through whatever they've come up with this time, buckling down for the long haul with an intensity that borders on obsession. At their worst, they can never seem to settle on just one brilliant idea, and move from one thing to the other with no results to show for it.
No matter what, Wands are passionate and intense, whether in the bedroom or the boardroom. If they could said to have one major weakness, it's that they have a nasty habit of acting without thinking: "It seemed like a good idea at the time" is a phrase often heard from them.
Wands can suit driven artists and businessmen, as well as adrenaline junkies and hotheads who can't seem to go a day without getting into a fight. They burn brightly, inspiring those around them, and sometimes they burn out. The ones with the endurance for the long haul, however, are, like the element they're associated with, an endless source of warmth and light, brightening more lives than just their own.
They can be charismatic leaders, inspiring a near-fanatical devotion that can at times seem entirely out of keeping with their actual level of competence. But they have such dazzling personalities that others can't help but react strongly to them. Love them or hate them; there's no real middle ground when it comes to Wands.
They are, one and all, children of fire, whether that manifests as the steady warmth of carefully banked coals, or a sudden burst of flame that fares up and then dies away.
